UX/UI Design

About

I’m a UX designer currently based in Brooklyn, NY. I currently work as a Senior Product Designer with The New York Times in the growth mission.

I previously worked as a User Experience designer with IBM’s CIO Design organization. I completed my BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. As a student, I became very interested in human computer interaction, and began working as a research assistant in the cognitive psychology department with several different labs. My research work, along with some marketing and design experience, led me to learn about design thinking practices and toward the field of UX design. I eventually became involved with the CU Boulder’s Office of Information Technology as a student UX Designer. I began working with IBM as an intern, and continued on in a full time role after finishing my degree.

I am most interested in the intersection of user research and design. I focus on strong user research methodologies that inform good design practice and problem solving.
